Hello hello! My name is River (They/Them), I am vegan, queer, trans and neurodivergent.

I have been tattooing since September 2020 (what a time to start :’) ) and I believe tattoos are an art form that can adorn a person’s body, allowing them to empower themselves, build comfort and confidence, and in some cases reclaim their body.

​

I specialise in a mash up of dotwork, blackwork and neo traditional styles. My favourite things to tattoo are plants, animals and anything weird and wonderful! I have plenty of my own ideas floating around but always welcome customs, big or small! (I also do plenty of script and fineline work, so don’t be afraid to ask!) See my portfolio :)

I pride myself in my ability to make my clients feel as comfortable as possible during the whole experience. Tattoos hurt, unfortunately that is the reality of poking needles in your skin, but I will do everything I can to make the rest of the experience a great one! See how I add extra accommodations :)

You will soon notice once in the studio with me, that hygiene is one of my biggest passions in this industry, and I do my best to go above and beyond to make my space as clean as possible. I do regular training on bloodborne pathogens and general hygiene for tattoo artists, and I’m always on the lookout to learn more!

Whilst tattoos are a HUGE passion of mine, I am also a big nerd at heart. When I’m not working, I am often watching or playing D&D, specifically Critical Role (this is a big special interest of mine so I could talk for hours about this). I do love a good video game, anything fantasy based please!

 

I am a big lover of animals, anything and everything! I have a number of animals in my little family already, and no doubt will add more. I also volunteer at a local rescue centre and have been a part of their team between volunteer and staff for over 10 years. Please show me all your animal friends during our appointment, I LOVE THEM!
